Worried that some apps might be out of date? It’s best to force them to update automatically. In iOS, you can activate this option in the App Store settings:
- Open Settings.
- Tap the Apple ID icon at the very top of the menu.
- Select the iTunes & App Store.
- Navigate to Automatic downloads.
- Enable Updates. Further down, you can configure whether updates will download over a cellular connection — if you want to save data, turn off Use cellular data.
